Our First Purchase!

We finally, after much searching, found the perfect couch. The Chesterfield. The name is just as regal as the couch itself. Mom found a custom couch-making store in Seattle that happens to feature the Chesterfield sofa. She chose a silver-grey velvet fabric and altered the size to fit our living room. Here's an idea of what the couch will look like (it will be more silvery and only two cushions).

Backless Sofa/Daybed

In an attempt to join the living room and piano room, we want a backless sofa to make it available to either the piano room/middle area OR the living room!

The Spiral Staircase

Just for the record, spiral staircases are A LOT harder to find than one would think... but here are some choices we've rounded up! (This would take the place of that fire hazard of a ladder to the attic bedroom).

Stairs or Ladder?

Noelle's room is a precious attic with the best view in the whole house. Only problem is.... how the heck do you get up there? Currently this is how we get there :). We're thinking a spiral staircase.... what do you think?!

The Original Living Room

Here is the masterpiece of a living room that we are given. Yes, the previous owners REALLY love furniture and hideous colors. Hopefully we can use our magic to embrace the beauty of this room!

The room is just half of a long strip which would be a combination of our living room and piano room. We want this to be our "seating" and party area. Hopefully we can merge the two to become one room instead of two seperate rooms.

The Velvet Couch

We have a vision... soft cushy velvet to sink into. Gray, silver velvet shining in the room like a gem. The research has begun and these are some couches we have found for our living room.

Charcoal Gray with White Trim

Oh the difficult exterior paint.... So many colors, so many options! Mother has nailed it down to EXACTLY what she wants. Dark, dark charcoal gray with white trim. Here are some pictures to go along with it :).
